Danny McDermott was raised with his 4 brothers in Albany NY where he graduated with honors. He then went to Alfred University and, while getting his bachelors degree in Ceramic Engineering, found his true calling in acting when he played Biff in Death of a Salesman. He also dabbled in stand up comedy at campus talent shows. After graduating, he worked as an industrial engineer at UPS and quickly realized he missed performing so much, that, much to the chagrin of his family, he quit and moved to NYC to pursue his true career.  He quickly established himself as dramatic actor/comedian and guy who occasionally got random bands let him jump up and sing. He spent 20 years in NY city acting, writing, directing, as well as, producing and performing stand up comedy. Danny co-founded and founded 5 different comedy rooms in NYC.  Danny was cast in a great deal of theater, appearing in numerous plays and was the lead in six productions off and off off Broadway. After success on stage, the world of movies and television came calling.  He has been seen in many TV shows including Comedy Central, the Queen Latifah Show, and as a guest host of "The View" on ABC with 20/20's Jon Stossel. His voice can be heard in hundreds of commercials.  McDermott has done voices on the Cartoon Network in Casper's Scare School and plays the recurring bully, Manetti, on an Award winning international cartoon series, Angelo Rules. His podcast, An Hour of Attention Deficit Disorder with Mc and Mac is on Mondays on and he wrote, directed, and acted in the series "Who Killed the Bible Salesman".  A world renowned acting coach Bob McAndrew's says, "Danny McDermott is a great talent with a wide range of characters. Unusual, exhilarating with a tremendous presence. He is electrifying. What a wonderful surprise.I couldn't stop laughing during the preview of his one man show, How Not To Act. While watching his performance, Alex Guiness came to mind."
