BIOGRAPHY
|
Jim Holland was Born 11-08-78 in West Islip, NY. The oldest of five. His family moved to AZ when he was two. Jim Holland started acting at an early age. He was a class clown like 87% of all comics. He has been on the Tonight show doing his Arnold as a D.J. impression, Last Comic Standing 06' and on Good Morning AZ. He also has over 600 videos on Youtube.
Jim Holland Has performed all over AZ,CA,NV,CO,and FL. He is known as The Best and Worst Comic in AZ, the Second Toughest Comic on the Planet,and the Sun City Bake Sale Champ 3 years in a row.
Jim Holland Studied Theater,Improv and was in Several Plays and Musicals in High School. In 1997 Jim recieved The Most Improved Actor Award. This award was voted by his peers.
After High School Jim went to Glendale Community College and Studied Theater and Video Production. At the same time doing Stand - Up,Sketch Comedy and five Semesters of Short Form Improv. Jim got nominated for an Irene Ryan award for his performance as Prince Dauntless in Once upon a Matteress.
In 2003, Jim got excepted to the American Academy of Dramatic Arts West in Hollywood, CA. There he Studied Acting for the stage and camera , Theater History, Movement,Voice,Sketch,and even mime.
In 2004, Jim hit another one of his goals. He was accepted to the Improv and Sketch programs at the Improv Olympic West. He graduated from both programs in Mid 05'.
Jim Moved back from Hollywood after a few plays and 1000's of shows. Variety,Stand-up,Improv,Music and Sketch at The I.O. West, Second City, Comedy Store, Improv, Ha Ha Cafe, Laugh Factory, and many others.
Now, he is performing all over the Southwest and putting together a tour for mid 10'
