Tom Myers was born and raised in Maryland. He performed his first stand-up routine at age 17 during an audition for a talent show his senior year in high school in 2001. While a student at Goucher College in Towson, Maryland, Tom participated in open mics and talent showcases. Goucher’s newspaper, The Quindecim, ran an article on him while he was still a student, calling his comedy “an amusing form of social commentary.” Tom even recorded and produced his own comedy CD, “Words of Mass Destruction” in 2004. In addition to doing comedy, Tom hosted a news/comedy/quiz/talk show called “The Myers Experience” on Goucher’s radio station and appeared in a handful of plays before graduating with a History degree in 2005. Since leaving college, Tom has performed in comedy clubs, theaters, casinos, fire halls, bars and restaurants all over the United States, including the District of Columbia. He has performed four times for the soldiers at the Walter Reed Army Hospital in Washington and even appeared on Baltimore’s Comcast on Demand and on Washington DC’s Local Point TV. In 2011, Tom was one of several comedians to perform in an 81-hour comedy marathon at Magooby’s Joke House in Timonium, Maryland, which earned a place in the Guinness Book of World Records for the Longest Continuous Comedy Show with Multiple Comedians. In Maryland, Tom writes for the Dagger Press where he comments on various issues ranging from current events and cultural trends using his acerbic sense of humor. Tom is also the writer of this bio, including this last sentence. Also this one. And this one.

Tom currently resides in Fallston, Maryland. His debut CD, featuring his Words of Mass Destruction comedy show and clips of "The Myers Experience," is available for purchase on "" target=_blank>his website as well as at "" target=_blank>CD Baby and "" target=_blank>Tower Records Online.hence -->
