BIOGRAPHY

Hari has performed on Jimmy Kimmel Live, Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham and was featured in the 2007 HBO U.S. Comedy Arts Festival. The Seattle Times recently wrote that he is "a young man reaching for the hand-scalding torch of confrontational comics like Lenny Bruce and Richard Pryor." They also wrote that his performance at the 2006 Bumbershoot Music and Arts Festival "eviscerated Western hypocrisy with a verbal razor that had overtones of Lenny Bruce." Like his comedic heroes, he wants to speak truth to power with confrontational and personal material. Unlike them, he does not want to die of a morphine overdose or set himself on fire.

Additionally, his short film MANOJ, which he is wrote, co-produced and starred in, has played in film festivals across the country and was a Finalist at the 2007-2008 Boston Motion Picture Awards and the 2007 Global ComedyFest.

COMEDIANS ON COMEDIANS

Definitely the biggest gift ever given to Seattle by the state of New York since IBM let Gates & Allen keep the rights to MS-DOS.

Hari is smart, funny and engaging on stage. He's as solid a performer as I've seen--and that's why we immediately asked him to become part of the regular cast of ComedyNight--Seattle's showcase for the best new comedy talent.

(Hari is the featured performer for the May 17, 2006 ComedyNight show.)

Hari is an excellent writer with a sharp, incisive wit and a boldness that allows him to tackle nearly any topic with clarity and resolve. He discovers big laughs with material that most comics wouldn't think about exploring--and he does it without polarizing audiences or driving people away from enjoying him, as a person.

That's a gift...and Hari's got it.
